The apocalypse is written and prophesized differently wherever you go, so I imagine those things are true in some other worlds. For mine, a system is set in place and governments are rendered useless. It lays an even playing field for pure anarchy and depravity.

Man can choose to keep their humanity and remember the institutions they once had, but the situation constantly challenges it.
