I managed to talk to one of the watchers. It's not as bad as it used to be. Helped the healin' along some.

Two groups were out and so were the Celestials... [What a WEEK.] Were you able to check in on them?

Yes. I took Suriel inside to treat their wounds. They told me a bit about what happened.

Answers are gonna be hard to get for all of us.

Yes. Seems like we can't simply ask the "angels" about their intentions. And this conflict only seems to be getting worse.

We went from one body to three.

Not very good.

We avoided the worst case scenario, which is a triumph, but we completely failed to conclusively solve any of the three murders.

'm not even totally sure which evidence is tied to which crime.

It did get a bit muddy. I still need to go back and re-organize my case notes to make sense of it all.

It's madness, being tasked with solving three murders simultaneously.

I'm gonna guess you usually only have to deal with one at a time?

Mhm. And with at least a few days to solve each one.

It'd be nice to have that much time to work with.

Frankly, our clearance rates aren't that good even with that much time. Solving murders isn't easy, even on a good day.

Doubt anybody's gonna make it easy for us.

Probably not. And at this point, anyone who kills next should have a pretty good idea of how we'll be investigating, and may be well-prepared to mislead us even more.

Or they might take out the people most likely to connect the evidence.
