W4 Roommates: Kim, Nero, Spike

Week 4, Monday

[It's Monday morning. Time to meet your new roommate.......s!

Kim's here with a hand on the arm of his glasses, trying to keep them on his face despite his ears having apparently moved overnight. He looks between the two others with a mildly puzzled expression.]

Okay... I'm not sure how this is supposed to work.

[bloodyromance]

[Spike groggily sits up, rubbing at his eyes. He's alarmed when he realizes that he's got some fucking bat wings that immediately flap in doors and he lets out an alarmed squawk and goes tumbling to the ground.]

Oh bloody hell...

[He gets to his feet. Luckily, (or unluckily) he sleeps shirtless, so his shirts haven't been ruined.]

Well, this is certainly a downgrade.

[Nero's wolf ears swivel to the crash and he does not bother getting up. It's too early for this.]

Why animal features.

[It's at this point that Kim finally feels around on his head to find the pair of feline ears there.

He just lets out a sigh.]

A bat?

Oh, of all the sodding stereotypes... this is setting us back years, you know.

[Vampires oppressed class says man who murders other vampires for sport????]

Do you wanna file a petition or somethin'?

[Not that he thinks it's going to do much for any of them.]

So all three of us are affected...

[Studying the others tiredly, his hand still manually holding his glasses up.]

Why are there three of us in here?

Maybe that's the new gimmick?

...Gotta say, I preferred the last one.

[ His ears flatten slightly in annoyance. ]

None of 'em have been great.

Three cause there's an uneven number of us now. We just got unlucky gettin' the real crowded room.

[Kim nods in agreement with Nero, then closes his eyes.]

God...

Now what?

[They have one bed.]

[how do we feel about threeways, fellas.]

We'll manage. Maybe take turns finding another room to sleep in. Maybe take turns sleeping on the floor.

[He shrugs.]

[ He can barely deal with one ex, he doesn't need to get messier. ]

Maybe we can get extra blankets somewhere.

[Did the gnomes come with Spike? That is the real question.]

Rotating floor shifts it is, then...

[Of course they did. There's now eight gnomes just gathered like bowling pins on one side of the room.]

Fantastic.

It'll be fine.

[Unless somehow they end up with the same three people in a room next week, but that seems unlikely.

He'll get up, tail swishing slightly as he straightens out a sheaf of wheat next to the pile of gnomes.]

Forgive me, but I just have to ask...

...... Why the gnomes?

[He truly does not understand why everyone's so alarmed by the gnomes.]

...They're funny looking and they fill the space? Normally, I'd put 'em outside. However, they'd just get left behind if I did that.

[It's a weird collection, but consider Nero has 6 different sets of cutlery on him. He can't really say anything.]
