If I were to compare it to one of the places we've been to before... it would most resemble Cittàgazze. Only much, much larger, and densely populated. The technology level may be similar... as is the climate. The proximity to the sea.
Truly? I do find that fascinating! Cittàgazze was a city quite unique to me, from its architecture, technology, fashion... Would that our circumstances weren't what they are. I would have enjoyed seeing more of it.
